Since his admission in 2007, Jarad has practiced exclusively in strata law in all states of Australia, with a particular focus on Queensland and New South Wales. Jarad provides advice to bodies corporate, owners corporations, resident managers and unit owners on a vast array of matters and conducts the legal due diligence for all of our client's management rights business acquisitions.
Jarad is also part of our commercial litigation team and can assist clients with a wide range of litigious matters, including contractual disputes, debt recovery and building defect claims. Jarad is regularly involved in disputes before the Commissioner's Office and QLD Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) in Queensland and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) (formerly the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal (CTTT)) in New South Wales. Jarad also has extensive experience in building defect claims and can assist bodies corporate in proceedings against the builder through the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) (formerly the Queensland Building Services Authority (QBSA)) or the courts.
