Nicholas works in the Business and Estate Planning team at Small Myers Hughes Lawyers, with a particular focus on tax and revenue litigation and advice. He was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Laws at Bond University in 2014.
He works closely with senior practitioners committed to fighting for the lawful rights of taxpayers, protecting them against arbitrary intervention by the Australian Taxation Office. Nicholas has assisted in a wide array of contentious and litigious matters in various Courts and Tribunals, acting for individual taxpayers and other legal entities.
Nicholas is especially interested in dispute resolution, and complex international taxation issues.
Outside of adversarial matters, he is also passionate about providing the right advice to clients on how to legally pay the correct amount of tax, in plain and simple language, and achieve good commercial outcomes.
