Overview

As a member of the commercial litigation team, James is focused on helping clients achieve practical solutions to their issues with an emphasis being placed on the commerciality of the options available to clients. James has experience in a varying range of legal areas, including defamation, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, property disputes, contract disputes, body corporate litigation, debt recovery and enforcement proceedings.

James also operates in the intellectual property field and assists clients with intellectual property registrations, including but not limited to lodging trademarks and carrying out negotiations with IP Australia in order to achieve the best protection for clients possible.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University. Prior to his admission to legal practice in 2017, James worked in commercial litigation in varying capacities from 2015 onwards and has continued to develop his litigation skills through experience and continued learning opportunities.
